AmpCell insulation is made from high quality polyolefin with physically cross-linked PE (IXPE) technology , a chemical free production process developed through Australian–Japanese collaboration. This process uses high-energy electron beam irradiation to refine and evenly distribute the molecular structure, resulting in uniform density throughout the sheet. Key features of AmpCell insulation:

Criteria for Choosing Good insulation
Selecting the right insulation material is critical. Key standard criteria include:
- • High R-value: Thermal resistance (the higher is better)
- • Low K-value: Thermal conductivity of the material
- • Low U-value: Thermal transmittance
A good insulation should have a low K-value or high R-value. Additionally, AmpCell is non-flammable, certified by TÜV and the Ministry of Science Services, with tests closely matching actual usage. Results show no flaming droplets, self-extinguishing, and no fire spread.
Water-resistant properties are also critical. When insulation absorbs water, its thermal performance decreases. Good water resistance helps identify leaks easily and prevents moisture accumulation, which could otherwise foster mold and bacteria growth.
Storage Recommendations for AmpCell Insulation

- • Keep insulation in packaging, in a dry, covered area with pallets
- • Avoid flames or high heat sources
- • Deliver by lifting, do not roll or drag on the ground
- • Deliver to high area, use boom lift
